Florin Gradinaru

He is an active researcher of artistic forms, colour, techniques and language.

Florin is a multidisciplinary artist from Botosani, in the north-east of Romania. After completing his studies in Fine Arts at the University of the Basque Country, he has settled in Bilbao until today.


Expert in various artistic techniques, both classical and contemporary: oil on canvas, wood and glass; fresco; dry painting; fat tempera; egg tempera on wood; acrylic; gilding.

Experienced art conservator-restorer with over 10 years in the field of art conservation and restoration. The most important works include works by artists such as Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí, Eduardo Chillida, Darío de Regoyos.

Thanks to his talent and versatility, he has carried out a large number of works that can be broken down into three areas: restoration-conservation, illustration and painting. Some of the most outstanding are:

Restoration:

- Bosque de Oma by Agustín Ibarrola
- Dreams and Lies of Franco" by Pablo Picasso.
- Various engravings by Salvador Dalí.
- Organ of the Basilica of Begoña

Illustration:

- "Okorriko" collection on Basque history.

Painting

- Numerous works for private collections and exhibitions.
- Religious icons for churches in Bilbao, Zaragoza and Romania, among other cities.
