Inspirado por su entorno, tanto natural como arquitectónico, Thomas Berthuel-Bonnes nos presenta una muestra de sus principales inspiraciones a la hora de crear su obra. Formas onduladas de la obra del arquitecto Oscar Niemeyer, más concretamente de su creación del Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Niteroi inspiran a Thomas para crear las pinturas pertenecientes a su coleccion LIAB (life is a breath) - La vida es un suspiro - .
El crepitar de la luz sobre la superficie del mar durante la puesta de sol inspiró a Berthuel a crear la colección “Phosphène”. Una serie de pinturas abstractas, que tratan de reflejar el color oro de la puesta de sol; La hora mágica, también conocida en inglés como golden hour, es una expresión usada que designa un momento del día que consta de escasos minutos, los que transcurren entre la puesta del sol y la total oscuridad de la noche.
AZUL, es como hemos titulado a esta muestra de gestos coreográficos de azul intenso y llenos de matices y texturas que Thomas nos trae desde Baiona.
Desde hace 15 años, Berthuel-Bonnes se dedica a la pintura. Sus obras han sido expuestas en Toulouse, París y Londres. En Estados Unidos su obra ha tenido una notable aceptación entre coleccionistas y amantes del arte, especialmente en la costa oeste. Siendo allí donde desde varios años es representado por una galería Californiana.
URDIN
Bere ingurunean inspiratuta, bai naturan bai arkitekturan, Thomas Bertuel-Bonnesek bere inspirazio nagusien lagin bat aurkezten digu bere lana sortzerakoan. Oscar Niemeyer arkitektoaren obrako forma uhintsuek, zehazki, Niteroiko Arte Garaikideko Museoaren sorreratik, Thomasek LIAB (bizitza arnasa bat da) bildumako margolanak sortzera bultzatzen du.

Berthuel-Bonnes has been painting for 15 years. His works have been exhibited in Toulouse, Paris and London.
